Christmas is upon us; the festive films have been playing all month and the songs are on repeat on the radio. If you're stuck for other ways to get in the Christmas mood then why not watch a festive television episode. Here are my five favourite festive episodes to watch...

It's officially the most festive time of the year, Christmas is coming! I thought I would start the month of December with some festive themed posts. February has been a weird month when it comes to favourites. I haven't really loved anything to class it as a favourite but here are some of the things I've been reminded of and have been really liking this month...

The OSCARS were on Sunday night (Monday morning for UK audiences) meaning all of Hollywood's finest were gathered to celebrate the announcement of this years best in film. There were a lot of controversy before the Oscars began and a lot to uphold on the night...

The BAFTA Film Awards were on last Sunday (10th February) and what an interesting night it was. Filled with highs and lows, surprises and shocks the evening was presented from the Royal Albert Hall in London and hosted, for the second year in a row, by Joanna Lumley.

A bit of a late post but what a weird month January has been. I feel like it has gone super quickly as well as being dragged out as much as possible.

Being an active reader I like to keep a note of what books I am reading throughout the year. GoodReads is an app which does just that, it's a way of listing the books you've read, want to read and are currently reading, as well as reading others reviews on books and becoming a part of a book community. For the last couple of years I have been taking part in the GoodReads Reading Challenge; you challenge yourself to read a certain number of books in the year, and the choice is all yours. You could target yourself to read ten books or fifty plus books and GoodReads will track your progress as the year goes on. Last year I challenged myself to read 30 books in the year and I actually surpassed that target to read 40! That was pretty impressive for myself. This year I thought I would keep it simple and try to achieve 30 books again.... ...I actually managed to read 32! Below is the list of books that I read in 2018:
