If I Were A Book Tag



Here we are with another fun book related tag...

What format would I be? e.g. paperback, hardback, poem, short story, graphic novel, ebook, audiobook:
I would be a paperback. 

What would the genre be: 
Sci-Fi! My favourite genre. 

Would it be completely fictional: 
Somewhat fictional, maybe aspects from my life could support characters personalities etc.

Would your book be a short or lengthy period of your life: 
Not sure what this one means but I want the story to be a couple of books long. Get the readers invested.

Would there be an antagonist: 
There’s got to be an atagonist of some sort in life whether that’s human or not. 

What world would you live in: 
A dystopian world, everything seems normal till chaos happens.

What era would you live in: 
I think it would be present day but an alternate universe to our own.

Would your book be linear, non-linear: 
Non-linear. Let the readers divulge into the history of the events that are to come in the story.

What would be the main plot twist: 
What we thought we knew was wrong. Are we fighting the wrong battles or for the wrong team?

Ways To Be Productive During Self Isolation

I don't want to mention the pandemic that the world is seeing right now too much on my blog but it is a serious matter. With that being said I hope each individual is using best practice for good health and hygiene and most importantly stay safe and at home where possible. A lot of my friends have been saying that during isolation they have been feeling demotivated and miserable at the fact that they can't get out very often and have to stay indoors. With that being said it is very easy to fall into this routine of boredom and lacking the motivation to do anything really, so I have come up with simple suggestions that you could do a little or a lot of each day to make you feel accomplished or even motivated. These really are easy steps to take and remember that this time isn't about how you use it, it's about protecting everyone so it's ok to do nothing too.

2020 GoodReads Challenge

  Here it is again, the annual countdown of how many books I have read in the year. The last couple of years I had done so well in achieving the target or reading more than what I had initially set myself. This year was different. I had set myself a target of 30 books and I only read 20. A lot of the time I felt unmotivated to read throughout lockdown but some books I whizzed through and others I struggled with.
