The third book in the series.

"I'll keep you safe," Tamani said, sweeping  a lock of hair from her face. "Or die trying."

Laurel is a faerie, but one brought up as a human. Since discovering her true identity she has been torn between two worlds - and between her faerie guard, Tamani, and her human boyfriend, David. Laurel thought she had chosen wisely, but now the walls that separate her worlds are crumbling and enemies are moving closer. Who can Laurel trust?

This series just keeps getting better and better!
I thought Aprilynne Pike did a brilliant job of never having a dull moment. When I first read it and the characters mentioned the quiet of the trolls I was thinking well where is the story going from here. And then  BAM Yuki is forced upon Laurel, Chelsea, David and Tamani.  Tamani is at school with Laurel causing controversy between Laurel and David and we learn who Laurel really chooses. The relationships are amazing and who doesn't love Tam in this?!?  We also have to feel sorry for David in this book but we are also left with the interesting question... are Chelsea and David going to get together?

These are amazing books, any teen has to read these, they are something different! Although I reckon more girls then guys will read the series but they are definitely worth a read people!!!

Massive praise for this series.

Enjoy x
