Verily. A New Hope
May The Verse Be With You!
Return once more to a galaxy far, far away with this sublime retelling of George Lucas's epic Star Wars in the style of the immortal Bard of Avon. The saga of a wise (Jedi) knight and an evil (Sith) lord, of ab beautiful princess held captive and a young hero coming of age, Star Wars abounds with all the valour and villainy of Shakespeare's greatest plays. 'Tis a tale told by fretful Droids, full of faithful Wookiees and fearsome Stormtroopers, signifying … pretty much everything.
This is so awesomely nerdy! It is a perfect mix of Shakespeare and Star Wars, Doescher has clearly done his research on both areas. I loved reading it and it took no time at all to get it finished. The story is the very first film (A New Hope) also known as Episode 3 in the Star Wars series and safe to say that although things are condensed its still brilliant how the language is transformed into the Shakespearean language.
There isn't a lot to say. If you like Star Wars and find the language of Shakespeare interesting then give this a go. A fun light read on Star Wars. A perfect gift for anyone who likes Star Wars and wants to read a slightly different adaptation on it.
Safe to say I can not wait to purchase the next book!

I picked this up with the intention to buy it for my Dad, a fellow Star Wars nerd, but ended up buying it for myself and reading it. Safe to say my Dad now wants to read it.This is so awesomely nerdy! It is a perfect mix of Shakespeare and Star Wars, Doescher has clearly done his research on both areas.
